The Bronx and The Chats North American Tour 2022<\/h2>\n

Los Angeles\u2019 punk mainstays The Bronx and Australian \u2018shed rock\u2019 band The Chats recently embarked on a co-headlining tour with support from Drug Church and Scowl, which landed at The Belasco in downtown Los Angeles on Friday night to a full house of fans excited to see the incredibly talented and diverse line up. From the aggressive hardcore of Scowl to the power punk chords of The Chats, it was a night with something for everyone!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Scowl may have opened the show but they gave a headline performance, working the crowd into a frenzied circle pit and setting the tone for an amazing night! This tour sees Scowl\u2019s first performances with the addition of a second guitar player and they\u2019ve never sounded better!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Up next, melodic hardcore outfit Drug Church performed a tight set of crowd favorites, with stage dives and singalongs at every turn. Midway through their set, lead singer and former Hollywood-resident, Patrick Kindlon, professed his undying love for Los Angeles, and, given the crowd reaction, Los Angeles loves you, too, Pat.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Australian beer lovers, The Chats, definitively stole the show, performing an epic set that included the better part of their discography, and the crowd still couldn\u2019t get enough! From songs off their brand new record, Get Fucked, to a cover of Kiss\u2019 \u201cRock And Roll All Night\u201d The Chats left it all on the stage.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Los Angeles\u2019 own The Bronx finished off the show, kicking out an awesome set with their hallmark high energy and showmanship on full display. Lead singer Matt Caughthran played to the crowd, mounting the barricade and bringing the show to the pit where he dodged crowd-surfing bodies to sing along with the audience. It was the perfect end to a perfect night at the Belasco!<\/p>\n

If punk and hardcore are, at their best, more than just music, but acts of pure rebellion, Friday night at The Belasco was proof rebellion is alive and well in Los Angeles!<\/p>\n
