Vocalist Ross Farrar recently took the time to look back at the band\u2019s trajectory, memorable moments, experiments, and so much more and graciously answered my questions about all of it. \u201cI go to shows or play shows and I\u2019m a part of an event in time with lots of history,\u201d muses Ross as he thinks back on his time in punk and hardcore, \u201cI\u2019m a part of that history now and can help kids get into other forms of music as they find their way. Twenty five years later Wes, Steve Teo, Aaron Butkus, and Jamie Pushbutton are still just as excited to be making music and playing shows together as they were in the beginning .Wes graciously took some time to answer my questions about his history in Death Threat, some of his favorite memories with the band and what they\u2019ve been up to recently. Their debut album, And Now I\u2019m Gnashing My Teeth, written during the pandemic and entirely DIY produced, is full of heavy, anti-authoritarian anthems laced with raw riffs, melodic hooks, and the spirit of the scenes that shaped them. An apoplectic commentary on our seemingly apocalyptic times. While Palehorse found themselves on a hiatus of sorts for a few years, in 2022, jolted to action by his brother\u2019s suicide, vocalist Vinny Calandra felt inspired to breathe new life back into the band. \u201cWe\u2026got something to prove as a band, unfinished business.\u201d With the recent release of No Longer Secrets on Heroes &amp; Martyrs Records, a comprehensive compilation of the band\u2019s catalog, Palehorse are ready to throw themselves back in the mix with plenty of shows and new music in the works.
